Background
Berkhamsted Raiders CFC, one of Hertfordshire’s top youth football clubs, nurtures both football talent and a love for the game. With 96 teams and 1,300 players, their success isn’t just about what happens on the pitch, but also behind the scenes.
We had a chat with Chris Armond, the club’s Chair of Trustees He shared insights into the administrative hurdles they faced before LoveAdmin and how we were the game-changer they needed to tackle their admin troubles.
We are a large football club, with over 1,300 members across 96 football teams. We needed a software solution that allowed us to more efficiently manage our database, payments, events and registrations.

The challenge
By 2016, Berkhamsted Raiders CFC was growing, and so was their admin. The time spent tracking payments and managing their contact database was increasing. They needed a software solution to help their 200+ strong group of volunteers, trustees, operations team and coaching staff work more efficiently.
Aside from the day-to-day football club admin, the team were also running several events throughout the year. With Annual Referee Workshops, Dinners, an AGM, Holiday Camps plus Workshops and Sponsors evenings, the invitations, ticket management and communications were increasing with the growing needs of the club.
Chris says “There’s two parts to it. Balancing the books is one key element, but supporting and managing volunteer and parent communications is important too”.
In January 2016, they discovered LoveAdmin’s football club management software, and it changed everything. Our software helps football clubs like Berkhamsted Raiders to manage teams effortlessly, collect players’ subs, and communicate effectively across their club.
