From the Olympic stage to inspiring the next generation
Joe Fraser is no stranger to dedication, perseverance, and excellence. Competing at Olympics was a monumental moment for him – one that he shared not just with his family and coaches, but with everyone who played a role in his journey.
“The Olympics themselves were an incredible achievement, not just for me, but for my family, my coach, and everyone who has supported me along the way. It felt like I was bringing so many people on the journey with me,” Joe shared.
This passion for community and inspiring young athletes has been the driving force behind Joe’s decision to launch his own gymnastics club. He believes that gymnastics is a sport that helps shape individuals from a young age, teaching discipline, resilience, and the thrill of overcoming challenges.
“As a five year old, I had a lot of energy and not a lot of avenues for me to express that energy. My mum and dad took me to my local gymnastics club to burn some energy off and I loved it. I loved the challenge, the feeling of flying, pushing myself to my limits, learning something new every day, and embracing failure. Gymnastics gave me so much, and I want to pass that on to the next generation.”
I wanted software that was simple for both parents and admin teams. Coaches should be spending time in the gym, not drowning in paperwork. After many conversations with LoveAdmin, it was clear they were the perfect fit for us and I’m excited to see where the journey takes us.
What makes a gymnastics club great?
Having grown up in the sport himself, Joe understands firsthand what makes a gymnastics club stand out. For him, it boils down to two key elements: team and fun.
“For me, the things that are crucial in a gymnastics club is the team. It’s important to have a great set of coaches, athletes, parents and support. If everyone is on the same journey and mission, whether that’s going to that first competition or Olympic games. They want to be better people and they’re doing that through sport,” Joe explained.
Equally important is ensuring that training is enjoyable. “Fun while learning has been key to my entire career. Every time I enter the gym to train with my coach, we always make it fun. It’s always enjoyable, I have a great time. It’s never felt like a job or that I’m having to do it for any other reason other than the fact that I love it want to be the best version of myself.”
Joe is embedding these values into Joe Fraser Gymnastics, helping children not only develop skills but also build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love for the sport.
Overcoming challenges and finding the right support
Starting a gymnastics club isn’t without its challenges. From finding the right location to securing approval for use as a gymnastics facility, Joe has faced hurdles he hadn’t expected.
“I was naive at first. I thought I’d find a perfect space easily, but it was really tough finding a unit with the right height, parking, and getting landlords on board was a challenge. Given my background in the sport, I presumed I would just find the space that would tick all those boxes. But it has been tougher than expected.”
Another crucial piece of the puzzle was finding the right gymnastics club software – and that’s where LoveAdmin came in.

Big goals for the first year
With Joe Fraser Gymnastics set to launch next month, Joe already has ambitious goals for the first year. He’s aiming for 800 to 1,000 members, but for him the main goal is expanding access to gymnastics and inspiring as many young athletes as possible.
“We’re taking gymnastics into schools and nurseries, showing kids that movement is fun and opens doors to so many other sports. Whether they go into football, tennis, or ballet, gymnastics builds a great foundation.”

To celebrate the launch, Joe Fraser will be hosting an exciting launch event in April! Attendees can expect goodie bags, t-shirts, and a chance to explore the gym. Joe himself will be there, alongside fellow Olympians and, of course, the LoveAdmin team.
“For me, this isn’t just about launching a gymnastics club – it’s about building a legacy. I want everyone to feel part of something special, whether they plan to do gymnastics themselves or just want to part of the community.”
